Whether you are a traditional student studying full-time in the Undergraduate Studies or a working professional studying part-time in the College of Adult Undergraduate Studies, the University has a long history of providing quality educational programs that meet the needs of all students.
Enroll with VA Education Benefits
- Apply to the University.
- Once admitted, obtain the Declaration of Intent form and submit to the Registrar's Office at registrar@ndm.edu.This will initiate the Enrollment Certification process through the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
- In addition, you will need to obtain an from the Department of Veterans Affairs. In return you will receive the Cost of Eligibility Form (COE Form). Please submit this form to the Business Office for processing at business@ndm.edu.
- You must be registered for classes before enrollment certification can be sent and processed.
- Additional payment and/or fees for the balance after VA education benefit disbursement are the student鈥檚 responsibility.
While waiting for VA education benefit disbursement, students will not:
Be assessed late fees
Be prevented from enrolling
Be required to secure alternative or additional funding
Be denied access to any school resources
Re-Enrollment
After initial enrollment, you must notify the VA representative in the registrar's office of your intent to continue using VA education benefits each semester by completing the Declaration of Intent Form.
Failure to notify the certifying official of your intent for the semester may result in nonpayment or a change in the amount of monthly payments.
Registration, Program, or Objective Change
If there are any changes to your registration, program, or objective:
- You must contact the certifying official immediately.
- The VA representative must complete a new Request of Change of Program (VA form 22-1995) and submit it to the VA.
Process Time
Once the enrollment certification has been made to the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) in Buffalo, N.Y., processing takes anywhere from 6 to 10 weeks before payment authorization is made.
