Jean Jun was lucky enough to be accepted into the Disney College Program as an intern, which is no easy feat. During her time, some of the most memorable experiences for Jun were engaging with the guests and helping them create life-long memories. 鈥淚鈥檓 the Cast Member and I have the power to create magical moments for others. There was nothing better than seeing kids with the biggest smiles and parents with equally big smiles because they were both genuinely happy to be with each other.鈥 鈥

A Library for Change

Micah Castelo and Lorelie Elaine Soriano submitted one of the 120 winning projects under the Davis Projects for Peace foundation. They have been awarded $10,000 each for the construction of the first official library of the Caibiran Central School in the city of Caibiran located in the eastern Visayas region of the Philippines. 鈥淔rom the start,鈥 Castelo says 鈥渨e knew that we wanted to work on a project in the Philippines because we are both Filipina.鈥 Castelo didn鈥檛 have to reach very far to find motivation, 鈥渨hen I was still in the Philippines, my parents enrolled me in a private school because the public schools did not have enough resources to ensure each child succeeds. I see this award as a privilege that I have been granted. I want to use this privilege to help those children in need鈥hey deserve this just as much as anyone else.鈥
