
Brightview Senior Living is planning a 171-unit senior living community on the campus of 海角社区, bringing a new university-based community model for retirement to the region.

In the exhibit 鈥淟ife on Hold鈥 at NDMU鈥檚 Gormley Gallery, artwork by women at the Correctional Institution for Women in Jessup reveals some of the emotions and realities they face from living a life in prison. WYPR speaks with curator Casey McKeel to learn more.

Another university-based retirement project is being planned at 海角社区, with Brightview Senior Living Development scheduled to begin construction in 2024 for a 170-unit community on 3.7 acres of property on Homeland Avenue at the former Knights of Columbus location.
