NDMU is excited to announce that the Loyola 海角社区 Library (LNDL) will now serve as an Affiliate Member of the University of Maryland System and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) Library Consortium. LNDL becomes the first private academic library in the state invited to join USMAI.
海角社区 (NDMU) President, Dr. Marylou Yam, has been appointed by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to the Maryland Commission for Women (MCW). Dr. Yam, who will be representing Baltimore City on the Commission, was unanimously approved for the position by the Maryland State Senate.
100Kin10, a national network that works to bring 100,000 new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) teachers into schools by 2021, has named NDMU as one of its partner organizations, which are comprised of more than 280 of the country's top businesses, nonprofits, foundations, and academic institutions.
Business Department Chair Deborah Calhoun promotes the Coached Leadership program in all business programs as well as NDMU鈥檚 unique approach to instilling leadership in coursework in 鈥淏eyond the classroom.鈥
