Message in Response to Supreme Court’s Decision to Strike Down Affirmative Action in College Admissions

A message from the president graphic

In light of Thursday’s Supreme Court decision striking down affirmative action in college admissions programs, I want to reaffirm our commitment to diversity and inclusion in all we do at º£½ÇÉçÇø.

Our mission to build inclusive communities calls us to provide a welcoming educational environment for all NDMU students that celebrates diversity and promotes belonging for every member of our community. U.S. News & World Report recognizes the diversity of our students by ranking NDMU #24 for campus ethnic diversity among colleges and universities in the regional north. At º£½ÇÉçÇø, we understand the importance of creating communities that reflect our dedication to inclusion and that challenges us to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of our differences.

The NDMU community advances our mission every day and in every interaction when we embrace the dignity of all people. We take a stand to uphold the values of diversity and inclusion that define our NDMU community and make our University a place where our students become their best selves.
